Star Rating: Grand Canal Hotel's excellent location in Georgian Dublin in the affluent Ballsbridge area makes the hotel the perfect base to discover Dublin. The city centre and Trinity College are easily accessible on foot in 15 minutes. DART station 'Grand Canal Dock' is across the road, which is ideal for daytrips to Dublin's seaside (beach, cliff walks, etc.) Grand Canal Hotel opened in 2004 and its 142 bedrooms offer a warm and friendly atmosphere. The hotel is very secure and floors and rooms are only accessible with a personal key card. A car park is located directly at the hotel and is complimentary for our guests. Guests can enjoy a full Irish or continental breakfast in the Epic Restaurant or a snack/beverage in the Gasworks Bar. From the airport by Bus Take the Aircoach Bus, direction city centre/Ballsbridge and get off at the School House Hotel. When you leave the bus turn right down the footway next to the School House Hotel. The School House Hotel will be on your right, the canal on your left. Follow this way for about 100 m, then turn right.
